New Business Development Executive

The New Business Development Executive will be a key contributor to the growth of Alliant. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing high level relationships with direct marketers in key vertical segments. You will guide new clients through the Alliant sales pipeline, partner with the Account Management and Analytics Teams, and structure and close long term revenue-generating deals. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & New Business Development.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Execution of all new account contact and development activities
• Identify prospects in key vertical markets
• Work closely with Account Management and Analytics teams to obtain strategic sales support and solution development resources as needed to close business
• Use Salesforce.com on a daily basis to record sales activity and revenue opportunities
• Maintain a sales pipeline worth 150% of budgeted revenue targets
• Maintain an accurate forecast
• Work with the Marketing team to develop prospecting campaigns and promotions to generate new busines

  
Key Skills and Background:

• Demonstrated mastery of and passion for the art of selling
• Five or more years of experience with a proven track record in closing deals and exceeding quota
• Outstanding writing and presentation skills
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience closing deals within direct marketing, internet and/or database development
• Working knowledge of direct marketing analytics a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or better required
• Must be flexible, team oriented and committed to having a good time while doing
