JoAnne Monfradi Dunn

President & Chief Executive Officer

JoAnne provided the vision and passion that resulted in the founding of Alliant and is the architect of its mission to deliver a new breed of consumer segmentation solutions to direct marketers. JoAnne focuses on Alliant’s business development strategy and ensures that team leaders are developing the resources and processes needed to execute. JoAnne is frequently asked to speak at industry events and continues to be a recognized expert on the power of cooperative performance data resources.

A lifetime direct marketer, JoAnne began her career with Time Life as a business analyst, rapidly gravitating toward marketing management responsibilities. After Time Life, JoAnne went on to hold senior marketing and sales management positions with TC Index and Mal Dunn Associates and The Norman Rockwell Museum.

JoAnne is an energetic promoter of direct marketers' interests and is active in efforts to establish ethical data handling practices and increase direct marketing educational opportunities. She is a board member of the Direct Marketing Education Foundation, and serves on the DMA’s Ethics Council. She is a past president and current advisor to the Direct Marketing Club of New York, and recently received a Silver Apple Award from that organization recognizing 25 years of service to the industry. JoAnne holds a BA in communications from West Virginia's West Liberty State College.

Gregory Dunn

Chief Financial Officer

Greg is a co-founder of Alliant and played a key role in securing the company’s initial capitalization for TransactionBase®, its first cooperative database, and the subsequent launch of the company’s operations. Today he oversees Alliant’s financial management and works closely with team leaders to align resources to growth goals. An operational expert, he also works closely with the technology and production teams and manages the company’s physical plant.

Greg has 20 years of experience in direct mail list marketing. He began his career with his family's pioneering list management and brokerage company, Mal Dunn Associates. He was a major contributor to the firm’s early growth, holding senior management positions in operations and sales, and serving as the company’s controller. Greg was also the founder and general manager of his own restoration contracting company, Dunn Construction.

Greg holds a BA degree in political science from Clark University, and has completed graduate courses toward a EdD in education from SUNY Albany.

Dan Parzych

Dan Parzych

Senior Vice President, Data Solutions & Services

Dan owns the data at Alliant and oversees the teams responsible for solution development and production. Dan brings a unique business perspective to the company’s technical operations, ensuring that Alliant delivers value and total quality throughout in every client engagement.

Dan has focused on the delivery of leading-edge statistical solutions for direct marketers throughout his career. Before joining Alliant, Dan was director of database marketing for AT&T Fixed Wireless. He served as manager of credit scoring with TC Index and was a senior marketing analyst with Time Inc.'s publishing and direct marketing properties.

Dan is a frequent industry speaker and makes time to mentor students interested in careers in direct marketing analytics. He received the DMEF’s Rising Star award in 2007. Dan holds an MA in economics and operations research from Pennsylvania State University and earned his BA in economics from the University of Connecticut.

Steele Arbeeny

Technology Team Leader

Steele is the architect of Alliant’s powerful cooperative database schemas and is responsible for the design and development of Alliant’s production systems. He continues to provide the company with innovative design and skilled leadership in all development projects.

Steele has served as the lead designer for a number of mission-critical technology environments. He has designed and deployed large-scale infrastructure projects for the United Nations, he developed financial applications for Deutsche Bank, and he was chief systems architect for online broker National Discount Brokers. Steele also served as director of software development for Cetova Corporation, and led a number of software development projects at Merck.

Steele has patents pending for work in digital speech processing and securities trading. In 2002, Steele received the International Who's Who Award in Information Technology. He is a member of the IEEE and the ACM. Steele earned his Ph.D. in computer engineering from Rutgers University, after completing his BS in electrical engineering at CUNY.

Donna Hamilton

VP Sales & Business Development

Donna oversees Alliant’s client partnership team, focusing on developing strategic relationships that range from direct mail optimization to ecommerce management. Donna offers marketers a deep understanding of multi-channel strategy and has worked with clients in publishing, catalog and ecommerce to develop innovative customer acquisition and retention marketing programs.

Donna came to Alliant after a successful 14 year career with Millard Group, Inc. where she managed their operations in San Diego and White Plains. Most recently, she served as Senior VP of New Business and Major Accounts, with oversight of new business and product development. Donna’s mission in that role was to extend Millard’s reach beyond traditional list services to encompass email, online, mobile, database and modeling programs.

Donna holds a BBA in Marketing from National University, San Diego, CA.

Bart Surrick

Bart Surrick

Vice President, Strategic Services

Bart’s first contact with Alliant was as a client — he served on the company’s Client Advisory Board during the early stages of its development. He then became a member of Alliant’s senior management team, with responsibility for overseeing account strategy and driving the development of Alliant’s account services team.

Bart has extensive experience in database management and in the design and implementation of risk-management strategies for direct marketers. He joined Alliant after 13 years at International Masters Publishers (IMP), which included service as VP of marketing for the U.S. and Canada, and VP of marketing services. During his tenure at IMP, Bart's work yielded significant new revenues while reducing costs through streamlined billing management and improvements in bad debt.

Bart holds an MBA in marketing and management from the University of Texas. He earned his BA from Bowdoin College.

Rick Witsell

Rick Witsell

Vice President, Marketing

As a co-founder of Alliant Rick played a fundamental role in developing the company's business plan and organizing its early client contact efforts. He oversees the development and execution of Alliant’s marketing and corporate communications strategy, partnering with the sales and business development teams to deliver year over year revenue growth.

Rick has over 25 years of strategic and tactical communications experience. He ran his own consulting firm for 12 years which provided advertising, brand development and investor relations services to clients in financial services, publishing and high technology sectors. Prior to the Alliant start-up effort, Rick oversaw the development and launch of a real-time risk-management service for major direct response marketers. In addition he has held management and creative positions in advertising and publishing organizations.

Rick provides volunteer services to the Direct Marketing Club of New York and the DMEF. He holds a BA in mass communications from the University of Vermont.
